Independent developers, industry bigwigs, producers, and middleware publishers are all expected at the European video game trade fair, held from August 21st to 25th in Cologne. The CNC will be there to showcase the expertise of French studios and the Game France label.

Europe's biggest video game market is back for another edition! From August 21st to 25th, Gamescom will welcome video game professionals, including numerous French companies, to Cologne's Koelnmesse. Last year, the event attracted over 320,000 visitors from 116 countries in 2023, as well as 79 French companies, including 36 exhibitors.

Once again this year, Business France, the French agency responsible for the international development of French companies, international investment, and the promotion of the country's economy, will set up its French Pavilion, featuring 34 French companies. All European stakeholders present at Gamescom will have the opportunity to attend the 5th edition of the European Game Night on Tuesday, August 20th, at 5:00 p.m. Selected companies from each participating country will pitch their projects and ideas in a competition, followed by a networking session.

At the French Pavilion, the CNC will have a dedicated booth (Hall 3.2, booth A-012), fully customized to showcase the Game France label. This will be an opportunity to meet the developers, publishers and service providers who represent the diversity of the French video game industry and to promote the Game France label, which brings together a network of French partners supporting the video game industry, from public organizations to business trade associations. This label aims to bring together French studios and international stakeholders from the video game industry. It is the gateway for video game companies and professionals who want to set up in or work with France. The Game France label assists with project funding in France either through the "Tax Credit" or "the support fund for video games" and provides data and information about the French ecosystem (regional hubs, events, schools, talents and studios).
