"At a time when French audiences are raving about Korean series, the signing of this agreement will foster exchanges and increase collaboration between French and Korean creators and producers. These are opportunities for French production companies and creators, particularly with regard to work on the promotion of French and Korean IPs, and for concrete cooperation, which is already enormously attractive to our authors and producers", rejoices Dominique Boutonnat, President of the CNC.
"This Memorandum Of Understanding will be an important opportunity to enhance the understanding of the content industry between Korea and France. We will continue to promote exchanges between Korea and France in various ways to lay the foundation for the growth of the content industry between the two countries." says Jo Hyun-rae, President of KOCCA.
The first actions to be implemented following the signing of this agreement will be to organize the presence of a French delegation and to highlight France at Broadcast Worldwide 2024 (BCWW), the major event organized by KOCCA in Seoul. The CNC and KOCCA will hold a France/South Korea forum in the contents genres that they cover in common in France in the upcoming years.
