According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 14.41 million in January 2013, down from 16.15 million in January 2012 (-10.8%).
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 202.52 million, a drop of 7.3% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in January 2013 was 38.4% of total admissions. US features shared 47.1% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 39.5%, 46.4% for American films and 14.1% for other films.
