According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 10.42 million in September 2013, down from 11.13 million in September 2012 (-6.4%).
For the first nine months of 2013, France cinema admissions were 135.70 million, down 5.8% compared with the same period in 2012.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 195.20 million, a drop of 9.2% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in September 2013 was 31.5% of total admissions. US features shared 58.6% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 35.4%, 51.1% for American films and 13.5% for other films.
